4. Spanish River Park

Located near Boca Raton, Spanish River Park is a great option for those who want to keep dry. The park is full of beautiful nature trails winding through the trees, perfect picnic areas, and birdwatching opportunities. Trails are also available for biking, and you can access the beach for a refreshing swim if you like.

5. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

For history buffs, visiting Bill Baggs Cape Florida Park is great way to spend the day. The highlight of the park is a beautiful lighthouse built in the 1800s, and there are guided tours offered for guests to learn all about this amazing piece of history. Dining is available at the lighthouse, or you can bring a picnic lunch for a bite on the beach.
